What does installation include and what is agreed separately?
Learn which tasks are normally included in furniture, kitchen and appliance installation, what is requested separately and how to receive an exact quote.
Why the scope should be agreed in advance
When booking furniture assembly, kitchen installation, appliance fitting or another installation service, it is important to know which tasks are included. The word “installation” can describe different work, and the actual requirements depend on the product, the location and how well the area has been prepared.
A clear agreement helps determine the correct price and prevents surprises on the day of the visit. Photos, a model number or a product link allow the necessary operations to be assessed from the initial enquiry.
What installation normally includes
The main work is assembling, positioning and securing the agreed product according to its construction, the manufacturer instructions and the conditions at the property.
Wall fixing is agreed in advance and carried out with suitable fixings for the product and wall type. It should not be omitted when required by the manufacturer. If the wall does not allow safe fixing, an appropriate solution is discussed first.
For kitchens, appliances and other equipment, the scope is confirmed separately because it may include cutouts, utility connections or other specialist operations.
Assembling the components with the intended hardware.
Fitting doors, drawers, shelves and handles.
Positioning and leveling in the agreed place.
Adjusting hinges and mechanisms.
Checking stability and normal opening and closing.
Which tasks are agreed separately
Some tasks are related to the installation but are not automatically included. Their availability and price are confirmed in advance.
Extra work can change the required time, materials and final cost, so it should be mentioned in the first enquiry and selected in the calculator whenever an appropriate option is available.
Delivery, unloading and carrying items to the required floor.
Removal and carrying out of old furniture or appliances.
Moving other furniture to clear the work area.
Modifying, shortening or cutting components.
Purchasing missing parts, hardware and additional materials.
Connecting appliances to water, drainage or electrical supplies.
Disposal of packaging, old furniture and construction waste.
Does installation include room repairs
Installation assumes that the area is ready for the product. Straightening walls, repairing flooring, moving electrical outlets or plumbing points and repairing existing services are separate tasks.
If a problem prevents safe installation, the required remedy is agreed first. For example, fitting a kitchen cabinet does not automatically include moving a pipe that prevents the cabinet from reaching its intended position.
What happens when parts are missing or damaged
Unpacking or assembly may reveal missing hardware, a damaged component or a mismatch in dimensions. We then discuss how the work can continue and whether a replacement from the supplier is required.
Repairs, drilling or modifications to a new product are agreed in advance because they may affect its appearance, strength or warranty conditions. If installation cannot be completed safely, the remaining work is planned after the correct parts or conditions are provided.
How to prepare for the visit
You do not need to unpack everything unless this has been agreed. The packages should be at the property, there should be enough room to work and any known access or installation difficulties should be mentioned in advance.
Provide clear access to the room and enough working space.
Make sure all packages, parts and instructions are available.
Confirm whether old furniture or appliances require removal.
Send photos of the product and installation area.
Mention narrow access, no lift, unprepared connections or required modifications.
Confirm whether packages or appliances need to be carried into the property.
How the price is calculated
The price depends on the installation type and complexity, number of components, site access and required additional operations. The address and travel outside Burgas are also considered when preparing the quote.
For an initial estimate, use the website calculator. Add all furniture, appliances, plumbing and removal tasks, then select the additional conditions. The calculator provides an approximate labor price, not a final quote.
The final price is confirmed according to the specific task, site conditions and agreed extra work. If work outside the original agreement becomes necessary at the property, its scope and price are approved before it is carried out.
Do you need installation in Burgas or the surrounding area
Calculate an approximate price and use the enquiry text generated by the calculator. Send it through WhatsApp or Viber together with photos, a model number or product link and a short description of the required work.
Include the town or village and any additional work such as removal, carrying to the floor, wall fixing or appliance connection. This allows us to confirm what your installation includes, how to prepare the area and what the exact price will be.
